This page explains what we can and cannot help with, and where to direct questions about official Pike County criminal records. Most requests belong with a government office, not with us - the routing below sends each record type to the right place.

This Is Not a Government Office. This privately operated reference resource cannot retrieve or correct records, conduct official checks, or receive expungement filings. Those services must come from the responsible public office.

Need an Official Record?

Use the custodian that created or maintains the Pike County record:

  • Arrest, booking, and jail material: Pike County Sheriff's Records/FOI/Civil Process or Corrections
  • Court files: the Pike County Circuit Clerk, with the court-case guide explaining online access
  • Police incident reports: the law-enforcement agency that prepared the report
  • State criminal-history records: Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification
  • Expungement or sealing: Pike County Circuit Clerk for the case, using current Illinois Courts forms
  • Official state inquiries: ISP through CHIRP or its applicable fingerprint process

Sheriff records requests go to Records/FOI/Civil Process, 204 E. Adams Street, Pittsfield, IL 62363, at 217-285-7000 extension 101. The Pike County Circuit Clerk is at 100 E. Washington Street, Pittsfield, IL 62363, is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and can be reached at 217-285-6612.
